Leicester Longwool fleece scoured and undyed

Description

I bought and scoured this beautiful Leicester Longwool fleece, one of the British rare breeds.

The staple length is around 15cm, and the locks are lustrous.  It spins well and has made some interesting yarn.  I haven’t tried dyeing this yet.  Although it has been washed there is a small amount of lanolin still in it.
