Social sessions:  A group of women from all over the world meet up Wednesday to Sunday each week, via the Zoom app.  This could be done using your computer, iphone, smartphone, and even telephone if you don’t mind not having video.  Because so many of us were missing our regular guild meetings during the coronavirus lockdown we found relief in sharing skills and ideas here.  Amazingly, we’re still going two years later.  There are various levels of skill, and you could get involved or just sit and listen to the chatter.

The meetings are limited to 12 people, and currently take place between 9.30am and 11.30 UK time.  If there is a demand these could be extended to other times.  On Saturdays we have learning days, which have so far covered things like hand carding, drum carding, Navajo plying, and art yarns, as well as talks on natural dyes and equipment maintenance.

Lessons: I also teach people how to spin, online via zoom.  There are currently no set lessons, it really depends on what the learner wants to learn.  Please contact me if you’d like to learn to spin, and I’ll set up a time that suits us both.
